How to use this tool
- Choose a time of day.
- Select Set alarm in this tab; this user action enables the sound attempt.
- Keep the tab open and visible until the alarm fires, then cancel it if needed.
Foreground browser scheduling
This alarm is scheduled only in the open browser tab with local JavaScript. Background throttling, device sleep, browser suspension, or a closed tab can delay or prevent it; it is not a guaranteed wake-up alarm.
Audio needs a user gesture
The Set alarm button creates and resumes the audio context. Browser or device sound settings can still block audio. No notification permission is requested and nothing is sent over the network.

Does it work after closing the tab?
No. The alarm lives in this tab and ends when the tab is closed.
Can it wake my sleeping device?
No. Keep the page visible and the device awake for the most reliable result.
Why did the browser ask for no notification permission?
This tool uses a local in-page sound attempt and does not use Web Notifications.
