A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter a HEX base color.
  2. Choose a three-color or five-color neighboring range.
  3. Review and copy a generated HEX swatch.

Fixed neighboring angles

Three colors use −30°, 0°, and +30° around the base hue. Five colors use −60°, −30°, 0°, +30°, and +60°. Angles wrap around 0° and 360°.

HSL model and limits

Saturation and lightness stay equal to the input HSL color. Hue rotation is a simple design rule, not a perceptual model or a promise of equal visual spacing.

Local and copyable

Color parsing, palette generation, preview, and copying happen in your browser. Color values are not uploaded or stored by this tool.
