Frequency bands

Web Audio biquad filters process six bands: 60, 170, 350, 1000, 3500 and 10000 Hz. Output is a new 16-bit PCM WAV at the browser-decoded sample rate. Files stay on this device. Input is limited to 25 MB, two channels, five minutes and 15 million decoded samples; codec support depends on the browser. This is frequency shaping, not loudness normalization. Boosts can exceed full scale; reduce gain if the tool reports clipping.

Cancel discards the result and stops the filter graph. Native browser decoding or rendering may finish in the background; new processing stays disabled until it settles.

Common questions

Are previews updated when I change a band?

Render again after each change. The previous result is cleared when settings change, so the downloaded WAV always matches the visible settings.
