Supported formats
Code 128-B accepts 1–80 printable ASCII characters. Code 128-C accepts an even number of digits from 2 to 80. EAN-13, EAN-8 and UPC-A accept 12, 7 and 11 data digits respectively, or the complete number with its check digit.
Check digits and output
Retail formats calculate a missing final check digit or reject an incorrect supplied digit. Leading zeroes are preserved. The complete encoded value appears in the status and optional SVG text.
Local SVG labels
Encoding stays in your browser. SVG uses black modules on white with quiet zones. Physical dimensions, print quality and scanner settings affect readability; validate printed labels before operational use. This tool does not assign GS1 identifiers.
Code 39 and ITF-14
Code 39 accepts 1–80 uppercase A–Z letters, digits, spaces and - . $ / + %. Its optional modulo-43 checksum is appended to the encoded value. ITF-14 accepts 13 data digits or 14 digits with a valid check digit, and renders horizontal bearer bars. This SVG does not certify GS1 print specifications.

Common questions
Which formats can I create?
The available formats are Code 128-B, Code 128-C, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, Code 39, ITF-14. GS1-128, UPC-E, supplementary symbols and two-dimensional barcodes are not included.
Will a missing check digit be added?
Yes, for EAN-13, EAN-8 and UPC-A, ITF-14. A supplied check digit must match; an invalid number produces no downloadable output.
Is my value uploaded?
No. Encoding and SVG export happen locally in your browser.
