Bulk Search Replace
Paste plain text, enter one literal rule per line as find => replace, and review the result locally before copying it.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste up to 200,000 characters of plain text.
- Enter one literal rule per line using find => replace.
- Run the rules in order, review the change count, and copy the output.
Explicit rule format
Use one rule per line with the first => separating the literal find text from its replacement. The replacement may contain => and leading or trailing spaces are trimmed from both fields.
Predictable literal processing
Rules are case-sensitive, replace all non-overlapping matches, and run in the order written. No regular expressions, wildcard syntax, or hidden normalization is applied.
Local plain-text workflow
The source, rules, and output stay in your browser. The input is limited to 200,000 characters and 100 non-empty rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Does rule order matter?
Yes. Rules run from top to bottom, so later rules can match text produced by earlier rules.
Is matching case-sensitive?
Yes. Matching is literal and case-sensitive; “Cat” and “cat” are different.
Can I use regular expressions?
No. The tool deliberately treats every find value as plain text to avoid regex surprises.
What is the rule format?
Write one rule per line as find => replace. Blank lines and rules with an empty find value are ignored.
Does the text leave my browser?
No. Replacement runs locally and nothing is uploaded or saved.
