GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Are spaces and line breaks counted?

Yes. Whitespace, punctuation, and symbols in the input are counted.

Is an emoji always one character?

The tool counts Unicode code points, so a standard emoji surrogate pair is one entry. Combining sequences may still contain multiple code points.

Can I filter the results?

Yes. Filter all results, letters, digits, whitespace, or punctuation.
