Formula and units
Factor = target ÷ reference. Each scaled amount = original amount × factor. Reference must be positive; target and amounts may be zero. A total is calculated only when every ingredient unit matches exactly.
Scope
All labels and units are supplied by you. Reference and target use the same batch unit; ingredient units are not converted. This scales quantities only, not reaction time, temperature, equipment or process conditions. No chemical handling advice is supplied.
