Color Blindness Simulator
Protan/deutan use Viénot 1999 and tritan uses Brettel 1997 with two projection planes, from libDaltonLens. Values are decoded to linear sRGB and re-encoded after the transform. Anomalous variants use a fixed 0.5 blend with the original; grayscale variants use linear luminance and a half blend. These approximations are not calibrated to an individual.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Input mode
- Compare eight simulations
- Prepare full-size PNG

Image
Image input: up to 10 MB, 2 MP and 4,000 px per side. Grid previews are reduced to a maximum 512 px side. Download re-encodes the selected simulation at the source dimensions as PNG, retaining alpha but no source metadata or animation.

Prepare full-size PNG?

Approximation?
Compare one image or HEX color across eight color-vision previews locally. These are approximate design aids; they do not diagnose vision or guarantee an accessible design.
