A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter a valid six-digit HEX color.
  2. Move the slider toward cooler or warmer.
  3. Copy the five resulting HEX shades.

RGB approximation

Warmth shifts red by 0.4 × amount, green by 0.1 × amount, and blue by −0.4 × amount in sRGB channel values. This is a visual approximation, not a physical color-temperature or white-balance model.

Five shades

The adjusted color is shown with darker 40%, darker 20%, base, lighter 20%, and lighter 40% blends. Output is HEX.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does this edit a photo?

No. It adjusts one HEX color and creates a five-shade palette; it does not edit images or photos.

Which color space is used?

The calculation uses direct 8-bit sRGB channel arithmetic, so results are approximate.

Is my color uploaded?

No. All color math runs locally in your browser.
