Enter text and a non-empty delimiter. Blank cells are preserved.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste delimited text with one row per line.
  2. Enter the delimiter used between cells.
  3. Transpose the rows and copy the resulting text.

Blank-cell rule

Each line is split by the exact delimiter. Empty fields between delimiters and trailing empty fields are preserved; shorter rows receive blank cells during transposition.

Input boundary

Text is processed locally and bounded to 100,000 characters, 500 rows, and 500 cells per row. This tool does not infer delimiters or parse quoted CSV.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does it parse quoted CSV?

No. It splits plain text on the exact delimiter you provide.

Are blank cells preserved?

Yes, including empty fields and cells added for shorter rows.
