A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose forward or inverse conversion.
  2. Enter latitude/longitude or Web Mercator X/Y.
  3. Review the converted coordinates and projection limits.

Limits and distortion

Latitude outside ±85.05112878° is rejected. It is useful for web maps but distorts distance, area, and shape, especially toward the poles. This tool does not perform datum transformations or identify a local CRS.
