Credit Card Test Number Generator

Choose synthetic local strings or a documented Adyen test fixture. Produce 1–20 records and copy the text without contacting a payment service.

Two explicit modes: Synthetic mode retains the 999999 prefix, random remaining digits and computed Luhn digit in 16-digit strings. It has no provider-specific expiry or security code and is for local format fixtures only. Adyen mode selects one fixed published fixture per brand: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB or Maestro. The chosen fixture repeats for every record. Batches are 1–20 and uniqueness is not guaranteed in either mode.

Source and scope: Adyen official test-card documentation verified 2026-10-07; the six selected fixtures use expiry 03/2030. These public test details are scoped only to Adyen’s test platform, not production or other providers. Local length/format and Luhn checks do not establish issuance, account ownership, payment ability or a successful sandbox transaction. No payment API is called.

Local data: No upload, persistent storage or payment operation. The tool offers no real-card input. The fixed English holder label SYNTHETIC TEST USER is a local placeholder, not a provider-specified identity or randomly generated person. Clear removes displayed results.

Choose a mode and count.

The fixed English holder label is a local placeholder, not provider-specified data. Adyen batches repeat one selected public fixture. Neither mode guarantees uniqueness.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose synthetic mode or Adyen test platform mode.
  2. For Adyen, select one of the six fixed brand fixtures; choose a batch count from 1 to 20.
  3. Generate and inspect the local format/Luhn result, then copy. Repeated fixtures are expected.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Are batches unique?

No. Adyen batches deliberately repeat the selected fixture; synthetic strings also have no uniqueness guarantee.

Can a local Luhn pass prove a card works?

No. A checksum only checks digit structure; it is not proof of issuance or payment capability.
