CSS Variable Extractor
Extract CSS custom property declarations, their selectors, line numbers and references locally.
200 KiB UTF-8 / 10,000 declarations. Local processing; no upload.
Static syntax analysis: no computed cascade, inheritance, selector matching or import loading. References anywhere count as usage; this does not prove a definition can resolve. Type labels are hints. :root export changes scopes: review before use. Escaped names compare by original spelling.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste CSS or load the sample.
- Extract declarations and review conflicting values, unused definitions and undefined references.
- Copy or download a :root block, JSON report or var() list.
CSS Variable Extractor
Static syntax analysis only: no computed cascade, inheritance, selector matching or import loading. Type labels are hints, not CSS validation. Limits: 200 KiB UTF-8 and 10,000 declarations. Names with CSS escapes are compared by their original spelling.
CSS / JSON / var()
Every declaration is retained. The :root export moves declarations in source order into one block; review scoped or conditional values before using it. JSON preserves original selector and at-rule context.
