A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a CSV file or paste UTF-8 comma-separated text.
  2. Set whether the first row contains headers, select columns, and arrange their output order.
  3. Extract the columns, review the CSV, then copy or download it.

Choose and reorder fields

Select any set of columns and move them into the order you want. With headers enabled, the first record is kept as the header row; without headers, columns are identified by their 1-based position.

CSV quoting is preserved

Quoted commas, doubled quotes, and line breaks inside quoted fields are parsed as field content and escaped again when the result is written. Input with malformed quoting or records with inconsistent field counts is rejected rather than silently misaligned.

Local processing and limits

Files are read and transformed in your browser. UTF-8 CSV input is limited to 10 MB, 100,000 records, and 500 columns. This tool uses comma as the delimiter; convert another delimiter to CSV first.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Can I select columns by header name?

Yes. Turn on the first-row header option, then choose columns by their displayed header labels. Repeated header names remain distinguishable by their column positions.

Can I change the column order?

Yes. Use the move up and move down controls in the selected-column list before extracting.

Are quoted commas and line breaks supported?

Yes. Properly quoted fields may contain commas, doubled quote characters, or line breaks.

Is my CSV uploaded?

No. Reading, parsing, reordering, previewing, and downloading happen locally in your browser.
