A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste CSV including its header row.
- Choose empty, NULL, NA, or N/A as the target representation.
- Download the cleaned CSV and review the normalized-cell count.
Recognized tokens
Case-insensitive data-cell matching recognizes truly empty cells, NA, N/A, null, none, nil, single dash, double dash, n.a., #N/A, and undefined. The first row is always treated as a header and is not changed.
CSV preservation and limit
Quoted fields, escaped quotes, commas, line breaks, and header content are parsed and serialized as CSV. Input is limited to 5 MB for responsive local processing.
Local privacy
Parsing, replacement, and download happen entirely in the browser. No CSV data is uploaded or sent to external services.

Is the header changed?
No. The first CSV row is always preserved as a header.
Are quoted fields preserved?
