CSV to Chart-Ready JSON
Paste a CSV table, choose header mappings, and generate JSON records for a chart without evaluating formulas or code.
Maximum 100,000 characters. Use CSV quotes for commas or line breaks.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste a CSV with a header row and quoted fields as needed.
- Choose the label, value, and optional series headers.
- Generate and copy the chart-ready JSON.
Explicit chart mapping
The first CSV row supplies headers. Each data row becomes an object with label, value, and optional series fields. Headers, quotes, commas, and line breaks are parsed using bounded local CSV rules.
No code or formula evaluation
Cell contents are treated as text. Values are converted only when they are finite decimal numbers; formulas, expressions, and code are never evaluated.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Can fields contain commas or newlines?
Yes. Properly double-quoted CSV fields may contain commas, quotes, and line breaks.
What happens to a non-numeric value column?
It remains a string so the input is not silently changed or evaluated.
Is my CSV uploaded?
No. Parsing and JSON generation happen locally.
