A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Choose an HTTP method and enter an HTTP(S) URL.
- Add optional query parameters, headers, Bearer or Basic authentication, and request body.
- Generate, review, and copy or download the shell command.
Request fields
The command includes the selected method, URL with encoded query parameters, each valid header, optional Bearer or Basic authentication, and an optional body. The body is passed as data without interpreting it as JSON.
Shell quoting
Arguments use POSIX shell single-quote escaping. Review the result and any placeholder credentials before running it. This tool does not make the HTTP request.
Local processing
The request details are processed in this browser. Header lines must use a valid HTTP token name followed by a colon; URL must use HTTP or HTTPS.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Does this send the request?
No. It only creates command text in your browser.
How do I enter query parameters and headers?
Enter one query parameter per line as name=value and one header per line in Name: value format. Existing URL query parameters are kept.
Does the tool support authentication?
Yes. Choose Bearer or Basic and enter credentials. They are placed in the generated command, so review it carefully and do not share real secrets.
Which shell does the command target?
The output uses POSIX shell quoting. Check it before using it in a different shell or terminal environment.
Are credentials uploaded?
No. The inputs remain in the current browser page. Avoid sharing generated commands that contain real secrets.
