A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter finite numeric values separated by commas, spaces, or line breaks.
  2. Ensure both vectors have the same length and neither is a zero vector.
  3. Review the cosine similarity and validation message.

Arithmetic only

The result is dot(a,b) divided by ||a|| × ||b||. It is a mathematical score for the supplied vectors, not a semantic explanation or quality rating.

Input validation

Both vectors must contain finite numbers, have equal lengths, and have non-zero magnitudes. Values stay in this browser.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does it create embeddings?

No. Enter the vectors yourself; the calculator does not call a model.

What does the number mean?

It is the cosine of the angle between the two supplied numeric vectors. Its interpretation depends on how those vectors were created.
