Blank-line boundaries
Lines containing only spaces or tabs are blank. One or more blank lines separate paragraphs; single line breaks stay inside the paragraph.
Trimmed edges, preserved content
Leading and trailing whitespace around each paragraph is removed. Internal spaces and line breaks are preserved. CRLF, LF, and CR line endings are treated the same.

What separates paragraphs?
One or more blank lines, including lines containing spaces or tabs, separate paragraphs.
Are line breaks inside a paragraph kept?
Yes. Only blank lines create boundaries; single line breaks remain in the extracted paragraph.

Yes. Windows CRLF, Unix LF, and old Mac CR line endings are normalized before extraction.
