Extract Sentences

Splits at ASCII . ! ? and keeps each terminator with its sentence. Abbreviations, numbers, ellipses, and other scripts may need review.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste text to scan.
- Click Extract sentences.
- Review, copy, or download the one-sentence-per-line result.
Conservative terminators
A sentence ends at one or more ASCII periods, exclamation marks, or question marks. Leading and trailing whitespace is trimmed; punctuation and the sentence text are preserved.
Abbreviation and language limits
This is a punctuation-based splitter, not a linguistic parser. Abbreviations such as “e.g.”, initials, decimal numbers, ellipses, and scripts with other sentence punctuation can be split unexpectedly. Review the output before reuse.

GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Does it understand grammar or language?
No. It uses ASCII . ! ? terminators and does not infer sentence boundaries from grammar or language.
Are punctuation marks kept?
Yes. Consecutive terminating marks stay with the sentence, and each result is separated by a newline.
Will abbreviations always stay together?
No. Abbreviations, initials, numbers, and ellipses may be split because the rule is deliberately conservative and punctuation-based.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Processing stays in this browser.
