Feature Flag Config Diff

Compare a before and after feature flag configuration, review each top-level flag value change, and copy a readable report without uploading either JSON document.

In-browser processingNo account requiredPrivacy details ↗

Use JSON objects with one feature flag per key. Maximum 100,000 characters per side. Everything stays in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste a JSON object with one feature flag per key into each panel, up to 100,000 characters per side.
  2. Choose Compare configs to parse both objects and compare their top-level flag keys and JSON values.
  3. Review added, removed, and changed flags, then copy the report if needed.

JSON objects only

Each side must be a valid JSON object. Arrays, strings, numbers, booleans, and null at the root are rejected because this tool compares feature flags by object key.

Local and bounded

Each input is limited to 100,000 characters. Parsing, comparison, report generation, copying, and clearing happen in the browser; no configuration is uploaded.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

What configuration format is supported?

Only JSON objects are supported, with one feature flag name per top-level key. YAML, dotenv, and other formats are not parsed.

How are nested values compared?

A flag is marked changed when its complete JSON value differs, including nested objects or arrays.

Is my configuration uploaded?

No. Both JSON objects stay in your browser and are never sent to a server.
