Fractal Generator

Choose a simple fractal and depth, then generate a browser-local visual with explicit rendering limits.

Rendering is bounded to a 600 × 400 canvas and 250,000 iterations or segments.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose Mandelbrot or recursive tree.
  2. Set a depth from 1 to 12.
  3. Generate the bounded canvas rendering.

Two simple fractals

Mandelbrot uses a bounded pixel iteration and recursive tree draws line segments. The depth input is capped at 12.

Explicit rendering limits

The canvas is fixed at 600 × 400 pixels. Mandelbrot work is capped at 250,000 pixel iterations and tree recursion produces at most 4,096 segments.

Local processing

Rendering happens in this browser with Canvas. No image is uploaded or stored.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

What is a fractal?

A fractal is a mathematical or visual pattern with detail generated by repeating a rule.

Why is depth limited?

A bound keeps browser work predictable and responsive.

Can I export the image?

Use your browser’s normal screenshot or canvas tools; this page does not upload the drawing.
