A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste a numeric list; blank items are ignored and non-numeric items are reported.
  2. Choose discrete values or grouped classes and set the class count or width when grouping.
  3. Review the frequency, relative frequency, percentage, and cumulative columns.

Numeric input and boundaries

Comma, whitespace, and newline separators are accepted. Empty items are ignored. Every remaining token must be a finite number; invalid tokens stop the calculation and are listed.

Grouping

Discrete mode counts each exact numeric value. Grouped mode uses the requested number of equal-width classes or an explicit positive width. Class intervals are lower-inclusive; the final interval includes its upper bound. No distribution shape or statistical conclusion is inferred.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Are my values uploaded?

No. Parsing and calculations run locally in your browser.

What happens to missing values?

Blank tokens are ignored and reported in the status. Non-numeric tokens are rejected and shown so the input can be corrected.
