Generate Number List
Enter exact integer endpoints and a nonzero step to create a newline-separated list locally, with BigInt-safe values.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Enter the start, end, and nonzero step as whole numbers.
- Choose whether the end point is included.
- Generate and copy the bounded list.
Exact integer arithmetic
Values are parsed and calculated with JavaScript BigInt, so large whole numbers are not rounded like ordinary floating-point inputs. Decimal values are rejected.
Endpoint and direction rules
The end point can be included or excluded. A positive step must move from a lower start toward a higher end; a negative step must move from a higher start toward a lower end. A zero step is invalid.
Bounded local output
The list is generated in the browser and is capped at 10,000 items to keep output practical. Inputs are not uploaded or stored.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Can I use numbers larger than JavaScript safe integers?
Yes. Whole-number parsing and arithmetic use BigInt, so values beyond Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER remain exact.
Can the end point be excluded?
Yes. Clear Include end point to stop before the end value.
Can I count backwards?
Yes. Use a negative step with a start value greater than the end value.
Can I use decimals?
No. This tool intentionally accepts whole numbers so BigInt arithmetic stays exact.
