The default list contains English terms. Edit it for your headline language. Matches require boundaries outside letters, numbers, and combining marks.

Counts use trimmed text and Unicode code points, not visual characters. Number runs are consecutive Unicode numbers. Question detection checks ? and ? only.

Length bands (<40, 40–70, >70) are arbitrary editorial references. These features do not rate clarity, truth, SEO, or engagement.

Up to 1,000 headline characters and 500 list characters. Text stays in this browser.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter a headline of up to 1,000 Unicode code points.
  2. Edit the comma-separated reference list for your language (up to 500 code points).
  3. Analyze and review the features alongside your editorial judgment.

Transparent local rules

Length counts trimmed Unicode code points. Groups are separated by whitespace. Numbers are consecutive Unicode numeric characters; question marks are ? or ?. Reference matching uses NFKC normalization, lowercase text, and boundaries outside letters, numbers, and combining marks. Each listed term is reported once.

Editorial reference only

The under-40, 40–70, and over-70 length bands are arbitrary references. The default English list (free, easy, proven, essential, ultimate, simple, discover, guide) is editable, not a validated power-word lexicon. All text stays in your browser.
