A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Choose a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image up to 20 MB.
- Choose a 2×2 or 3×3 grid; the centered square crop is shown.
- Download individual PNG tiles or all tiles in order.
Centered square crop
The tool uses the largest centered square from the source image, then divides it into equal grid cells.
Predictable export order
Tiles are numbered row by row, left to right, top to bottom. Individual files use tile-01.png style names, and the batch action downloads the same order.
Local and bounded
JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 20 MB are processed locally. No image is uploaded; each export is PNG.

Common questions
Which grids are supported?
Choose 2×2 for four tiles or 3×3 for nine tiles.
What happens to a non-square image?
The largest centered square is used, so the outer sides are cropped evenly where possible.
Can I download every tile?
Yes. Use the batch PNG action; browsers may ask you to allow multiple downloads.
