Interview Answer Timer
Choose a practice question type, set the answer length you want, and use a private browser timer to keep your response focused.
Ready to start.
This timer measures time only. It does not listen to or score your answer.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Choose a practice question type and set a target answer duration.
- Select Start while you answer, then pause or resume whenever you need.
- Use the live pacing message to finish within your target; reset before another practice round.
A simple pacing aid
This timer helps you rehearse concise answers for behavioral, technical, situational, and general interview questions. It measures elapsed time and does not judge the content or quality of your answer.
Pause and resume safely
Pausing freezes the accumulated time. Starting again continues the same round, while Reset clears it and returns to the selected target.
Private browser processing
The timer runs entirely in this browser. It does not record audio, use speech recognition, score answers, upload text, or store practice history.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Does this listen to my answer?
No. It is a visual timer only. It does not access your microphone or transcribe, score, or evaluate speech.
What does the pacing feedback mean?
Ahead of pace means little of the target time has passed, On track covers the target window, and Running long appears after the target is reached. The timer cannot judge how much content you have covered.
Can I pause during an answer?
Yes. Pause freezes the display and feedback, and Start resumes the same practice round.
