Designed for a 9:16 mobile frame
The final PNG is 1080 × 1920 pixels. Source images are cover-cropped to the frame, while text stays inside a padded safe area so it is easier to review on a phone. Keep important content away from the very top and bottom because social apps may place interface controls there.
Local browser processing
The selected image is decoded and composited in your browser. No image, caption, or draft is uploaded or stored by this page. Input files are limited to JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 20 MB and 40 megapixels; canvas export does not preserve source metadata.

Does this use an official Instagram template?
No. It is an original 9:16 canvas with your own image, text, and colors. It does not include Instagram logos, official templates, or platform UI.
What image size should I use?
Any supported portrait or landscape image works. The generator cover-crops it to 1080 × 1920; a portrait image with a similar ratio usually keeps more of the scene visible.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image and text stay in this browser while the canvas is drawn. The PNG download is created locally.
Can I publish the downloaded story?
You can use the draft where you have the rights to its image, text, and other content. Check the destination service’s current dimensions and content rules before publishing.
