Private local conversion
The PDF is read and rendered by PDF.js in this browser. No PDF bytes or rendered images are uploaded, fetched from a URL, or stored by this page. Clearing the file releases the PDF and canvas memory.
Quality and scale tradeoffs
Scale changes the output pixel dimensions and memory use. JPEG quality controls compression: higher values preserve more detail and create larger files, while lower values download faster and use less storage. PDF pages are flattened onto a white background because JPG has no transparency.
Defined limits
One local PDF up to 50 MB and 100 pages is accepted. Each page is limited to 60 megapixels at the chosen scale and the conversion to 240 total megapixels; corrupt, unsupported, or password-protected PDFs are rejected with a clear error. The browser may still impose lower canvas limits.

Is my PDF uploaded?
No. PDF.js reads the selected local file in your browser and the page never sends it to a server.
Can I choose specific pages?
Yes. Enter page numbers and ranges such as 1, 3-5, 8. They are exported in ascending document order.
Why is the JPG background white?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent PDF content is flattened onto white.
Will the output be a real JPG?
Yes. Every download is produced with Canvas as image/jpeg and has a .jpg extension; PNG bytes are never renamed.
