Local rendering and privacy
The PDF is opened from the file you select with PDF.js and rendered in your browser. No PDF bytes or page images are sent to a server, remote URL, or CDN. Temporary Canvas elements are released after each page is encoded.
Page, pixel, and memory limits
A PDF may be up to 50 MB and 100 pages. You can render all pages or a list of pages. Each output page is limited to 40 megapixels and 256 MB of Canvas memory; the selected scale is checked before rendering.
Output behavior
Each page is downloaded as a genuine image/png file. PDF vector content becomes pixels, page order follows your selection, and pages without a painted background retain transparency where the browser PDF renderer provides it.

Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF and rendered PNGs stay in your browser memory.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Enter all, a single page such as 2, or ranges such as 1,3-5.
Why was my PDF rejected?
The converter rejects non-PDF bytes, damaged files, password-protected files, PDFs over 50 MB or 100 pages, and pages that exceed the selected pixel or memory limit.
Does PNG preserve selectable PDF text?
No. PNG is a raster image of the rendered page and does not contain selectable PDF text or vector objects.
