A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste a valid JSON array or one JSON value per line.
  2. Choose the conversion direction.
  3. Copy or download the validated result.

JSONL semantics

JSONL contains one complete JSON value per line. Blank lines are ignored during parsing; output uses compact JSON values separated by newline characters.

Local validation

The tool parses JSON in your browser. It does not upload or store the pasted dataset.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Can JSONL contain objects only?

No. Each line may be any valid JSON value, including objects, arrays, strings, numbers, booleans, or null.

Is formatting lossless?

Not guaranteed. Whitespace and original formatting are normalized, and numbers are subject to JavaScript precision and range limits. Out-of-range numbers can become null when serialized.

Can I download the result?

Yes. The validated output can be copied or downloaded as .json or .jsonl.
