Focused AcroForm flattening
This tool uses pdf-lib to flatten standard AcroForm form fields into their page appearances. It does not convert entire pages to images, so normal PDF page content remains PDF content. PDFs with no standard fields are declined instead of being rewritten without a meaningful change.
Clear compatibility boundaries
Encrypted or password-protected PDFs, digitally signed PDFs, XFA forms, and PDFs with non-form annotations are rejected. Flattening a signed document would invalidate its signature; XFA and complex annotations need a dedicated workflow. The tool does not use an encryption bypass.
Private, bounded browser work
The selected PDF stays in your browser and the original file is not changed. Input is limited to 25 MB and 200 pages; the downloaded application/pdf result is limited to 50 MB. Both the selected file and the result are held in browser memory only for the active page session.

What does flattening do?
It turns standard AcroForm field appearances into page content and removes the editable form fields. This is useful when recipients should see completed fields without editing them.
Does it upload or change my original PDF?
No. Processing, preview, and download stay in the current browser. The original selected file is never modified or uploaded.
Why was my PDF rejected?
This focused tool rejects encrypted or password-protected files, signed documents, XFA forms, non-form annotations, documents with no standard AcroForm fields, and files outside its size or page limits.
Are pages converted to images?
No. The tool flattens supported AcroForm fields through pdf-lib. It does not rasterize pages or claim to support every kind of PDF annotation.
