Markdown and GFM choices
Standard headings, paragraphs, emphasis, links, lists, block quotes, thematic breaks, and fenced code blocks are supported. GitHub Flavored Markdown is on by default and adds tables, task lists, strikethrough, and URL autolinking. Optional hard breaks turn single line endings into br elements while GFM is enabled. Code remains semantic pre and code markup; syntax highlighting is not added.
Sanitized output and isolated preview
The parser output passes through DOMPurify before it reaches the result, download, or preview. Scripts, event handlers, forms, embedded frames, active objects, styles, and unsafe URL schemes are removed. The preview uses an iframe without sandbox permissions plus a restrictive content security policy. External media addresses remain in the exported HTML but are omitted from the preview so viewing it cannot contact their servers; preview links are also inactive. Review generated HTML before publishing it in another system.

Can the converter execute HTML from my Markdown?
No. The output is sanitized, and the preview is isolated in a sandboxed iframe without script or form permissions.
Why was some raw HTML removed?
Elements and attributes that can execute code, submit data, embed another page, or change styles are outside this tool’s safe output profile.
Does it add syntax highlighting to code blocks?
No. Fenced code blocks keep semantic pre and code elements plus their language class when available, but no highlighting library is loaded.
