How to use this tool
- Choose 30–240 BPM and a 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, or 6/8 meter.
- Choose whether the first beat is accented and set a safe volume.
- Click Start to hear the metronome; click Stop to end it.

Clicks are synthesized locally with Web Audio. No microphone, recording, upload, or audio file is used.
Safe limits
Tempo is limited to 30–240 BPM and volume to 20% to keep repeated clicks controlled. Start requires a user gesture.

Common questions
Does it record me?
No. The metronome never requests a microphone and does not record.
Why can the first click be delayed?
Browsers may suspend audio until your click resumes the AudioContext.
