Number Picker with History
Set an integer range, choose whether repeats are allowed, and pick numbers without sending data anywhere.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Set an inclusive minimum and maximum.
- Choose whether picks may repeat.
- Pick a number and review the local history.
Local random selection
Numbers are selected in this browser with crypto.getRandomValues when available. The tool does not contact a remote randomness service or claim external randomness.
History and repeat rules
The current page keeps up to 50 recent picks in memory. Enable no repeats to prevent another pick until every value in the range has been used; refresh clears the history.
Bounded inputs
The range accepts integers from -1,000,000,000 to 1,000,000,000. The endpoints are included and the history is never uploaded.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Is the randomness from a remote service?
No. Picks happen locally in your browser. When browser cryptography is unavailable, the tool reports that it cannot provide a secure local pick.
Does history survive a refresh?
No. History is held in page memory only and is cleared when the page is refreshed or closed.
Can I pick without repeats?
Yes. Enable the no-repeat option. The tool reports an error when the requested range has no unused value left.
