Outer Quiet Audio Trimmer
Trims only leading and trailing low-amplitude samples, not pauses inside the recording. A frame is quiet when every channel is at or below the user-selected absolute amplitude threshold. Optional padding retains samples around the detected edges. Header limits are checked before OfflineAudioContext decoding. Only classic RIFF/WAVE PCM16 is supported; compressed audio, extensible WAV, RF64 and multiple data chunks are rejected. No playback, voice detection, semantic silence detection, upload or server storage.

Output is newly encoded 16-bit PCM WAV with the source channel count and sample rate, without source metadata. Re-quantization can alter samples; no lossless or quality guarantee. Low-level speech or music may be removed by the amplitude rule. The supplied threshold is not a safety or audibility determination.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Does it remove pauses inside speech?
No. It trims only outer samples below the selected amplitude threshold on every channel. Quiet speech or music may be removed; it does not detect voice or semantic silence.
