A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose the number of decimal places (1–1,000).
  2. Select Generate.
  3. Read or select the digits to copy them.

Calculation and accuracy

Machin’s formula π = 16 arctan(1/5) − 4 arctan(1/239) uses alternating series. BigInt lower and upper bounds include division and remainder errors.

Limits and privacy

All work stays in your browser. The 1,000-place limit bounds computation and output. Only digits agreed by both interval bounds are shown; no rounding is applied.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Are the digits rounded?

No. The requested decimal places are truncated after checking both interval bounds.
