A teaching simulation
The route, hop names, and latency values are deterministic demo data designed to explain how diagnostic output can look.
No network access
The tool does not use fetch, WebSocket, DNS, ICMP, or any other network probe. It cannot test a host or connection.

Common questions
Does this test my internet connection?
No. It only animates synthetic results in this browser.
Are the latency values real?
No. Every value is simulated and labelled as such.
Can I stop or reset it?
Yes. Stop ends the current sequence and Reset clears it.
