A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter whole-number bounds from 0 to 1,000,000.
  2. Run the calculation to test candidates in the inclusive range.
  3. Review or copy the ordered list of prime numbers.

Inclusive range and limits

Both entered bounds are included. Each bound must be an integer from 0 through 1,000,000, and the lower bound cannot exceed the upper bound.

What counts as prime?

A prime is an integer greater than 1 with exactly two positive divisors: 1 and itself. Values below 2 are omitted.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Are the endpoints included?

Yes. A prime equal to the lower or upper bound appears in the result.

Why does a range starting at 0 not include 0 or 1?

Prime numbers must be greater than 1 and have exactly two positive divisors.
