Random JSON structure generator

Generic sample data only. Not schema-based, realistic, repeatable, or suitable for secrets.

Choose limits and generate a random JSON structure.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a maximum nesting depth and elements per level.
  2. Generate a random JSON structure.
  3. Review, copy, or download the JSON output.

Control structure size

The root is an object or array. Nested objects and arrays stop at the selected maximum depth, and each container has no more than the selected number of elements. Values may be strings, numbers, booleans, null, objects, or arrays.

Useful for quick test data

Generated values are arbitrary and do not represent real people, valid domain records, or a user-provided schema. Generation uses the browser’s Math.random and is not suitable for secrets, cryptographic values, or security-sensitive randomness. Nothing is uploaded.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Can I define field names or a JSON Schema?

No. This generator creates a random generic data structure controlled by maximum depth and elements per level; it does not accept a custom schema.

Is the output realistic or repeatable?

No. It is arbitrary sample data and a new generation can produce a different structure. It is not seeded or designed for reproducible fixtures.

Is this suitable for passwords or security tokens?

No. It uses ordinary non-cryptographic randomness for sample data only.
