In-browser processingNo account requiredPrivacy details ↗

For each ration: daily cost = intake × price/kg; cost per kg gain = daily cost / daily gain. Both differences are B − A: positive means B costs more, negative means B costs less.

All prices and results use the same user-entered currency. This arithmetic does not assess nutritional adequacy, recommend daily weight gain or select a ration. It excludes other costs and exchange rates.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

What does a negative difference mean?

B costs less than A for that displayed measure. The difference is always B minus A.

Does lower cost prove a better ration?

No. Nutrition, animal needs and observed performance require separate assessment; the tool only compares supplied numbers.
