A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste one book per line in the selected format.
  2. Choose CSV or BibTeX output.
  3. Export the parsed books and review any flagged lines.

Choose one line pattern

Use either “Author - Title (Year)” or “Author - Title” for every non-empty line. The parser does not guess mixed formats.

Review exceptions

Lines that do not match the selected pattern are listed with their line numbers and are never silently omitted from the report.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

What if my title contains the separator?

The parser uses the first “ - ” separator. If your title contains that exact pattern, edit the line or use a different consistent source format before exporting.

Is the BibTeX entry complete?

It includes author, title, and year when present. Publisher, edition, DOI, and other metadata are not inferred.
