Removal Labour Cost Estimator
Enter your own packing, loading, driving, unloading and assembly or waiting durations. Review stage hours, charged person-hours and an estimated labour total in your chosen currency.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Enter each stage duration in hours; enter zero for unused stages.
- Split travel into charged hours and unpaid or already included hours without counting the same time twice.
- Enter 1–20 workers and a per-worker hourly rate, then calculate.
Your durations and crew assumptions
All durations are user estimates. The full crew works every charged stage at one hourly rate. Stages run sequentially, without overlap. Floors, stairs and distance do not automatically add fixed time; reflect their impact in your own duration estimates.
Travel and transparent arithmetic
Charged crew hours = packing + loading + charged driving + unloading + assembly/waiting. Charged person-hours = crew hours × workers. Labour total = person-hours × rate. Unpaid or included driving adds elapsed time only and creates no additional labour charge.
Estimate, not a quote
This is a user-estimated labour scenario, not a provider quote. It excludes minimum charges, taxes, vehicles, fuel, supplies, insurance and other fees. Ask your provider about their billing terms.
Browser-local calculation
Inputs stay in this browser and are not uploaded or saved. Every hour field accepts 0–10,000, workers must be an integer from 1–20, and the hourly rate accepts 0–100,000. Blank or non-finite values are rejected.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
What if driving is free or already included?
Enter those hours in the unpaid / included driving field and enter zero for charged driving when all travel is included. This travel affects elapsed hours but not charged person-hours or labour cost.
Is this an automatic estimate based on floors or distance?
No. You supply all stage durations and the rate. The result does not infer productivity, minimum billing or local provider prices.
