A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter up to 100,000 characters.
  2. Choose whether to remove fullwidth U+FF5C in addition to ASCII U+007C.
  3. Review, copy, or download the cleaned text.

Defined character scope

The default rule removes only the ASCII vertical line U+007C (|). The visually similar fullwidth vertical line U+FF5C (|) is retained unless the explicit “also remove fullwidth bars” option is enabled.

Bounded local processing

Input is limited to 100,000 UTF-16 characters and output to 500,000 UTF-16 characters. Processing happens in the browser; no text is uploaded.
