Defined parenthesis scope
Recognizes ASCII parentheses (), fullwidth parentheses (), and CJK presentation forms ︵︶. Other brackets such as [], {}, and angle brackets remain unchanged.
Nested and unmatched input
Nested recognized parentheses are removed as one outer span. An unmatched opening parenthesis removes from that character through the end of the input; an unmatched closing parenthesis is removed by itself. Text outside removed spans, including whitespace and line breaks, remains unchanged.
Local and bounded
Input is limited to 100,000 UTF-16 characters. Processing, copying, and downloading stay in this browser.
