A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter room dimensions and a unit label for your own measurements.
  2. Enter the border or clearance on each side; table and chair offsets are optional user preferences.
  3. Review the available rug rectangle and whether a proposed rug fits.

Calculation

Available length = room length − 2 × length clearance; available width = room width − 2 × width clearance. Optional furniture offsets are added to the relevant clearances. All dimensions must use the same unit.
