A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter the maximum session duration and idle timeout.
  2. Set the warning lead time and refresh policy.
  3. Review the resulting start, warning, and expiry times.

A timing model, not a security claim

The planner uses the earlier of the maximum duration and idle timeout as the example expiry, then places the warning before it. Real applications may use sliding sessions, server-side revocation, clock differences, or other rules.

Refresh policy is descriptive

Manual refresh and refresh on activity are labeled planning choices. The tool does not change tokens, cookies, server sessions, or application settings.

Local processing

Calculations happen in this browser. No session data is uploaded or stored.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Which limit controls expiry?

This simple model uses the earlier of maximum session duration and idle timeout.

Does refresh on activity extend the session?

It is shown as a policy label only. The planner does not implement or guarantee an extension.

Is this a security compliance check?

No. It is a local timing aid and makes no security, compliance, or production behavior claim.
