A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter the cargo volume in cubic metres.
  2. Choose a container type and loading efficiency.
  3. Review usable capacity, required containers, and the remaining allocated volume.

Calculation

Usable capacity = approximate internal volume × loading efficiency. Required containers = ceil(cargo volume ÷ usable capacity). The remainder is the combined usable allocation minus the cargo volume.

Planning boundary

This is a volume-only estimate. It does not validate weight, regulations, carrier conditions, door openings, cargo dimensions, orientation, securing, or actual packing. Confirm current container specifications and limits with the carrier.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Which internal volumes are used?

The defaults are approximately 33.2 m³ for 20-foot standard, 67.5 m³ for 40-foot standard, and 76.3 m³ for 40-foot high cube.

Does the result prove the cargo will fit?

No. Real loading depends on dimensions, doors, voids, weight, securing, rules, and carrier conditions.
