Choose a format explicitly; ambiguous dates are never guessed.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose YYYY-MM-DD, MM/DD/YYYY, or DD/MM/YYYY.
  2. Enter the complete date and convert it.
  3. Review the locale-specific long date with the full month name.

Accepted short formats

The input must match the selected YYYY-MM-DD, MM/DD/YYYY, or DD/MM/YYYY pattern exactly.

Ambiguity policy

Numeric dates are never inferred. Selecting MM/DD/YYYY versus DD/MM/YYYY is required before conversion.

Bounded and local

The date field is limited to 10 characters, validates Gregorian calendar dates, and is processed in the browser with UTC calendar components.
