How to use this tool

  1. Paste XML or one absolute URL per line, or choose a local text file.
  2. Choose the maximum URLs per part or the number of balanced sections.
  3. Create and download the sitemap parts and index.xml.

Local XML parsing

Sitemap XML is parsed with the browser DOMParser and serialized with XMLSerializer. External entities are not fetched by this browser parser; the tool never navigates to or requests the listed URLs.

Sitemap limits

Each part contains at most 50,000 URLs and 50 MB of serialized XML. The complete input is limited to 100,000 URLs and 100 output parts.

Common questions

Does it crawl the URLs?

No. URLs are only read from your pasted text or selected local file.

What XML is accepted?

A urlset containing loc elements is accepted. Plain text with one absolute HTTP(S) URL per line is also accepted.

JSON File Splitter

Split one UTF-8 JSON file (≤5 MB) by items per part (1–100,000), an exact number of balanced parts (1–100, including empty parts), or a UTF-8 byte cap (2–20,000,000). Compact serialized JSON bytes include keys, commas and brackets. Whole top-level values stay together; an oversized item rejects the task. At most 100 JSON parts, 20 MB combined JSON output, and a STORE ZIP ≤21 MB. Root arrays and objects are supported; integer keys follow JavaScript key order.
